I had know idea how to hatch chicks i went to reshure online and the only place i came to that gave me the info i neede was here Back Yard Chickens. I wanted to show you my hatch Becuase most of you helped me out during the past 21 days. Thanks for all the help and i hope you all will like my video i put together for you all.

If you can tell what kind of chicken the chick is in the video please tell me


And if any of you are hatching chicks please tell me some of your tips or tricks you use, So i can try them out on my next hatch thanks.

three eggs did not hatch but the rest all did

What is lock down ????

Lockdown is done three days before due date. It's when you stop turning the eggs so that the babies can find the air cell so they start breathing on there own before hatching and the incubator isn't opened at all until hatching is completed unless its a dire emergency
