My wild rouen

This duck is now 7 weeks old. He weights in at 3 lbs 10oz. We found him when he was just an egg. Just one egg sitting all alone and no momma around so we just wanted to see if it was fertile so into the bater it went for 28 days and then he pops out. I have never tried to hatch a duck egg before so I was super excited. Well I just wanted to know if rouens are known to be a wild duck. Its to big already to be a mallard. We are in Missouri, Saint Louis area.

Rouens are a domestic duck, a mallard dirived breed.

Its the same size at my 8 weeks old Mallards. Cute. He/she looks like a Mallard, a Rouen would be larger. My Rouen mix is 4 weeks old and already 3 pounds .
