My 1 year 4 month year old rooster is not acting like himself. He does not crow at all any more, naps a lot during the day, and looks tired. I don't know if this is normal and what to do if it's not. This is my first wonderful rooster and i love him a lot.

I would try worming him with something such as Valbazen or SafeGuard Goat Wormer 1/4 ml orally , then repeat in 10 days. What kind of feed is he on? Does he have any respiratory symptoms such as gasping? Any diarrhea?

he does not have diarrhea or respiratory problems. We have Wazine 17 we could try and he has mite powder on. He and the hens are eating 16% layer pellets. Thank you for helping!

Wazine will get round worm, but chickens can get other worms. A vet can always check a fecal sample.

We are trying food grade diatomaceous earth because someone suggested it at a feed store. If that does not work we will do goat wormer.

DE is ineffective as a wormer. It will not prevent nor treat worms. Don't waste your money and do what Eggcessive recommended. Also inspect him for lice/mites especially around the vent area. Use sevin dust if he has them.
