I have just started incubating and I had 3 eggs hatched. I only own large golden laced wyandottes. Does anyone know why or how its possible for a gold laced wyandotte chick to be yellow?[IMG]

If you haven't already done so, I would recommend posting this question in the Breeds, Genetics, and Showing section. Chicken genetics experts in that part of the forum may be able to help you. I myself do not know how this yellow chick could have come from your Golden-Laced Wyandottes, unless they weren't purebred. It will be interesting to see what the chick looks like when it gets older!
