    I ordered 15 little SLW's from Meyer hatchery. They all look the same save for one. It's bright yellow. Did they sneak Big Bird in my order?[​IMG]

    Maybe he was just a 'packing peanut.' Hatcheries do that when they feel more need to be added to the order to ensure the others stay warm. More than likely that is a male.

    I only ordered 5 chicks from Meyer and I didn't get a packing peanut [​IMG]
    Youre right. Its probably going to be a cockerel.

    Thats just Great...so I guess i shouldn't let the kids name that one then since it will more than likely be dinner. LOL
