Good morning, all! My Americauna (hatched 4/20/13) has not layed for about 1 week. She has 14 coop mates, and our average daily collection is 9. There has been no noticeable difference in the rest of the layers, but since she's the only hen laying blue eggs, it is easy to see she has stopped.

She acts fine, and I can see no evidence of binding. Any ideas?

    Thanks, and enjoy your day!

If I worked this out correctly she's around 23-24 weeks old? So I'm guessing she hasn't been laying very long? Young hens are not the most the most reliable layers and can sometimes take a week or more break from laying early on in their laying cycle. If she's healthy, active and not showing any signs of being eggbound or having something amiss, I wouldn't be concerned. She will probably resume laying soon.
