my 11 week old hen, size of a 5/6 week old hen due to serious sour crop/penduluous crop caused by a partial blockage. she had a ruptured air sac and we had to deflat it as it was making her crop issues worse. turns out it got infected. i didnt want to but needed antibiotics as it was from a tiny puncture and festering under the skin. im worried her sour crop is now back, can i give her sour crop treatment with antibiotics? i have medastatin and monistat suppositories. i think having her eat the piece of suppository would work better than dousing her food with medastatin water to get it into her. as that took forever to help last time. i dont know how much, and if it is safe with doxycycline. if you have any advice it is appreciated. i am using probiotics, as well.
