Hi there, I have three chickens. two 19 week ISA Browns and one 23 week 3/4 Australorp. I just noticed signs of mycoplasma (foamy eyes, sneezing, gasping). I‘m not sure how to treat it, I just put some vitamin C in they’re water. Can anyone help????

You can try treating symptoms with Tylosin powder in water, Tylan injectable, or tetracycline drugs. But the disease is contagious and your flock should all be considered exposed and carriers for life. Most people with backyard chickens close their flocks to new birds, and never rehome birds to control the spread. It is a common disease, and wild birds can spread it, or newly added chickens or fowl from other flocks. Have you added any new birds? I would consider getting some testing to confirm MG. Here is some reading about MG:

Thanks for the advice, no this is my first time owing chickens, so this is my first flock. I think my one of my ISA’s could possibly have had it when I got them as she starting sneezing a little while before the others.
