I should stop buying at TSC. I have no idea what I'm getting.

It's got a head spot, so I believe it's going to be barred or cuckoo.
Do Marans even come in bantam size? If so, then perhaps a bantam cuckoo marans or perhaps a barred bantam cochin....

Did the bin not have a breed sign on it?
Which location did you buy it at?

    Oh..ok...
They do not separate the bantams breeds...they keep them all mixed up!

Find out from the TSC what hatchery they use, and then find out what breeds that hatchery produces. You should be able to sort out the breed then. It's a very cute chick! Mary

No you did good. It has feathers around its legs and ankles so I think it is part cochin or silkie a type of banty. The head spot indicates a breed but I forget which one. It is so cute.

The head spot indicates a colour pattern not a breed. It is barred or cuckoo patterned. It is not a silkie as it has no specific silkie features...wrong skin colour, no extra toe, wrong comb, no vaulted scull.

I agree with Mary though, it is a very cute chick.
