Mystery Breed!!

Just trying to figure out which breed my new chickadees are! I have two that are 8 weeks now and still can not seem to place the breed. They were sold to me as heavy breed chickens from cackle hatchery. Can anyone tell me or have a guess on what they may be (black one)? I have two that are black like the picture with beautiful copper on the chest and a purple to their black in the sun.

I agree with Cynthia. It would help if you could photograph them separately. Your camera is underexposing them because of focusing on the white bird. That makes the picture too dark to show off the black one.

If you have Picassa or another photo program on your computer, you can adjust the lightness or darkness to some place inbetween. Or else take separate photos ,

Thank you! I was thinking black copper maran but their combs and wattle are are black so I have been stumped.
