Mystery breeds!

    Good deal gone bad, it's a long story. In the end we wound up with two chickens we don't recognize.

    The first has me guessing Blue Langshan but I haven't seen one first hand :

    This little blue roo has me totally stumped. I'll try to get a better shot of his comb, looks to be similar to my Wyandottes yet thinner:

    Your blue hen looks like a Cochin. If they came from the same place, I'm betting the male is a Cochin mix. Mixed with what.....something not straight combed and gold based, beyond that it's going to be hard to say.

    I'd say both are Cochin mixes, very likely siblings.

    I appreciate the input, even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear :)

    At least 6 of the 8 look true to some breed!
