Mystery chick joined the brooder

    I have a mystery chick and am hoping someone can identify.

    I got 18 Cornish X chicks from Tractor Supply last weekend. The other day, I found a chick outside the brooder, wandering the yard. I put it back in the broader, figuring one of the chicks Houdini-ed it's way out.

    The only thing is...it looks totally different and now there are 19 chicks total. Smaller, fully feathered, seems older? What kind of bird is this mystery chick?

    Looks like a leghorn..... I wonder where it came from.

    Probably a White Plymouth Rock or White Leghorn.

    Lol, no idea where it came from. I find it hard to believe that both myself and the employee didn't notice a different breed and extra bird in the box, but it is possible. I've had multiple broody hen, but they weren't good enough at it to hatch chicks. They kept switching nesting boxes!
