Mystery Chicken

    I hatched this chick with other BOs. She was pale buff as a chick and feathered out all white. Her legs are white and pink. Does any one know how this happened?

    if she for sure came from pure buff orpingtons(BO?) then she is a reccessive white.

    She's not recessive white, she's very likely a Buff with khaki genes instead of dun (or black) thus causing her to have a very pale, almost white color. That or she's not a Buff Orpington, which is the far more likely case. Her legs look slate, not white. What color are they?

    They are white. The picture makes them look darker cause it was overcast cause it had just stormed.
