Mystery from My Pet Chicken

Hi all

Just received my order from MyPetChicken and all of my chicks are easily identifiable, but this one that should be a partridge olive egger. From what I can tell, it should have a clear chipmunk pattern. I know this is a blend of breeds and no standard, but that stumped me.

This morning I notice she isn’t really solid yellow like I thought, and if you use some imagination, it’s almost as though there’s some buff like shading in the chipmunk pattern. She looks likes some photos of cream Legbar chicks I have seen in SOME hatches. Perhaps she is from a CCL that has the white gene?

Let me know if anyone has thoughts!

Maybe a True Blue or Snowy EE? Did you order a certain pack? MPC does have Frost White Legbars, but the chicks look a little different. Could be a "designer mix" though? Such a cute little chick!!!

No, I ordered individual chicks.

It is super cute! Hmm, maybe you could e-mail a photo to MPC and ask? I ended up with a crested Black Australorp mix from a breeder this year, she is my absolute favorite. The breeder is thinking she may be a Black Australorp x Legbar mix, but I'm still waiting to see what color egg she lays.

What about in pic 6, the chick directly behind the white one. What breeds did you order? Is there a possibility you could have some mixed up?
Did you click the box that says you agree to them sending you something similar if that breed isn't available?
If so, perhaps it wasn't available, and they sent you a Green Queen Easter Egger.
