Hey guys --
I just acquired 4 "wheaten" Marans chicks -- but at least two of them can not be pure wheaten.
I am wondering if two of them might be split for salmon (e+).
The other two are very very light in their primary feather color. I've never had a wheaten chick feather in this light, but I've heard it can happen. I'd love to know what folks think about these as well.
Both of the darker chicks, and one of the lighter chicks, are feather-legged. Only the lightest chick is clean legged.
Any input welcomed!
