Hello everyone i have a very light tan chick, it was white when it was born. It is so light that unless you really look good you will not notice the color. Does anyone know what type of chicken is very light tan. The picture I am posting you may not be able to see the color to well. The chick is at the lower right by itself. They are four weeks old[IMG]

Can you get an individual pic? Where did you get the hatching eggs?

I'm guessing it is probably a hatchery quality Buff Orpington, it's hard to tell from the photos though.

I agree. From what I can see of it, it appears to be a hatchery quality Buff Orpington.

I see 3 pics. The only one on the lower right, appears to be almost white.is this the one in question? I ask because there is also a tan bird towards the top of the pics.

Yes there is one buff, but that is dark at the top. The one I mean is almost white. When it stops raining I will take a close up of it by itself.

Hatchery birds sometimes don't resemble the breeds they are supposed to be.
