    Hello
Do chickens need their nails trimmed? If so how often? How do you keep the chicken still if so? My chickens (9-12 weeks old) get scared and run away when ever I try to grab them if I need to do so.
    Thanks

Most won't require trimming ever. Some adults need it, especially as they get older. You will need to occasionally look at them to see if it's needed, but most don't. You would need to catch them and hold them to trim them, some go in at night, I use a dog nail clippers on mine.
