Name of breed?

Does anyone know what breed this is? Supposedly it's a Japanese but I really can't find it anywhere I look.

Pretty rooster. I don't think that's a Japanese. Is he as small as he looks in the pic? I've seen lots of birds with that coloring, I had a mix that color.

He is average size. I tried to upload some comparison pics but it won't let me. Not a small breed like banty

Well upon looking at ameraucana rooster pics, he could possibly be one or an ameraucana cross. I looked at several that had the same color and markings.

Ameraucanas and Easter Eggers have pea combs. Yours has a single comb. He is definitely a mix.

I have a rooster that color, too, and I know exactly how I got him....

I bred a New Hampshire with a Buff Orpington. Took that rooster offspring and bred to a barred Rock hen. Took the barred rooster offspring and bred him to a Welsummer hen and got Eric, my duckwing colored rooster....
