my brother traded me this hen for a barred rock hen but he thought it was a rooster....lol anyone know what breed this is

and this is her roomate he was sold to me as an australorp

together the two of them just blessed my family with these little fluffy penguins

She looks like a hatchery-quality Golden Laced Wyandotte or GLW cross.

I'm totally guessing here but it looks like a GLW cross... and from the looks of her comb it looks like the other half could be Leghorn.

Doubt it is a GLW cross - Looks to me like a brown leghorn cross. The black tipping and gold coloring is VERY reminiscant of the wild-type duckwing and BBR coloring, just with a little bit of something else.

GLW crosses would be solid black and gold, with the black either blotching the feathers or tipping them.

I have three GLWs from Cackle, one with a rose comb, two with single combs. The two with single combs have really big combs that flop to one side a little, much like hers. I do think she's a GLW crossed with - ?
