Name this parasite- bacuase i have no clue what it's called

Here is the dersecription :

"parasite which causes canker sores around the beak" There is an out breack in the maritimes researchers have asked us to look out for finches with it but it can affect turkeys and chickens. I don't know about waterfowl. Any ideas of what it's called?
