I have a guy trying to trade me napkin chickens and I have never heard of them. Googled them and no hits. He says they are rare. Sent me pics but seems like [email protected]!$#!! Can anyone help?

Try googling Nankin. They are a bantam breed - pretty nice I think.

Yep, try Nankin. They're a legit breed, cute little things.

Maybe he mean "Nankin". That is a recognized chicken breed. Here is what one looks like (photos found at Feathersite.com, from Lund Poultry)

Probably not to you, if you aren't even familiar with the breed. I wouldn't count on reselling them and getting your money back, either, just cause you're not in show circles for that breed, plus shipping birds is a pita, etc.

I have been looking for show bantams as my daughter is starting to show. Just want to make sure it is worth my while.

Not looking to resell. Trading my mini goat and want to make sure it is a good deal before Xmas. $150 buys many gifts!!

The Nankin breeder around here sells them for $10 each (his culls). (Must buy a pair.)
