A Narragansett tom is bbngngRR and a Bourbon Red hen is bbNg---rr. So offspring toms will be bbNgngRr, and look like red bronze but carrying a recessive Narragansett gene. Hens will be bbng--Rr, and be golden Narragansett.

The list of what you get when you cross a Narragansett tom with other hens is long, however, the hen offspring will always express the sex-linked Narragansett gene received from the tom.
