nasty rooster-HELP

We have a rooster which i rehoused from my work due to bad behavior and that there was only 1 hen.,
We have 5 hens, which he has taken too very well, however he is extremely aggressive. A number of times he has attacked me from behind and whole family is very nervous & sporting various wounds from him .
Is there any way to change his behavior ??

Thank you, that link was very informative and helpful.
We will definitely follow the tips it has given and hope that it works. George is a beautiful rooster and would love chance to change his behavior before we had to remove him
