Natural history of the chicken

Did any of you catch it? I saw the tail end of it a long time ago and have been waiting to see it in its entirety. It was listed last night, 10pm on pbs...but all they showed was ELVIS.

Never have been a fan...
And PBS does that all the time. Lists something that should be on and it's not.

I think I'm just going to the library today to see if they have it.
BTW, it's titled Natural History of the Chicken, but it is actually 4 or 5 stories of people who own chickens for different reasons, whether it be meat birds, cockfighting,etc. And when I caught it last fall all we saw was the last story about an amazing little silkie chicken who so wanted to be a mommy. It was really good. I'll let you know if I find it at the library.

The title is inaccurate because there is nothing about chicken history in it
however it is a touching and funny documentary that most here will enjoy.

The pooor little fuzzy butts

in that hatchery getting droped off a belt into a shoot and so forth.

I hope hatcherys like McMurray, Ideal Poultry, Privett Hatchery and so forth don't treat there chicks like that.
