I'm going to be moving the brooder into the garage in a week or so, but my concern is that there's not much natural light in the garage. Right now they are in a room that gets sunlight in the morning and it's very nice. I don't use a heat lamp, I use a ceramic heat emitter (used with reptiles) that gives off heat but no light. Do you think I should use a plant light to give them some fake sunshine, or just go with a regular lightbulb? I'd move them to the coop so they could have fresh air and sunshine, but it's not quite done.

well insted of using the ceramic heat lamp.why not use a 60 watt bulb in a drop light.that way you have heat an light.
