My black silkie, Midnight, hatched 2 ADORABLE silkie chicks, they are so tiny. Midnight's sister, lucky, raised 5 Speckled Rhode island chicks and did amazing she was so protective, she would even attack our dog to protect her chicks. We could never touch the chicks without getting pecked. early on in Midnight incubation, I knew she was different I could touch all the eggs without her raising a fuse. I thought it was because of their differences in personality. When the chicks hatched we could hold them which was awesome because of their absolute cuteness. Midnight has gotten better but I realized the chicks don't really listen to her, Is that because we held them or some other reason? Is there anything I can do to help them because midnight is very attached and the chicks will go under her but they don't always listen?
