    Hello,

A friend gave me some NBRC Convention banded birds. Three to be exact. One has Portland, Oregon--DFW, Tx-- Denver, Co. What do these bands mean? Who banded them? Were they some sort of auction birds?? I would like to know the story behind these birds. Thanks in advance!

NBRC stands for "National Birmingham Roller Club". Is that all the bands say, or do they have any numbers?

    Mary,

Thanks for your response. I'm fimilar with the NBRC bands, but never seen ones that reads:

    NBRC Convention
    Denver, Co
    NBRC 2006 F 59

A regular band reads more like this

    NBRC 09 FO 495

I emailed the NBRC band secretary. I'm waiting to hear back from him.

    Thanks
    Ralph
