    I also don't know the breed of the small white one

    The small white one "probably a White Leghorn" and the Buff are pullets. Rest are cockerels.

    Cheers. I suspected the Maran and sussex were. A Shame.

    Agree the Marans and Sussex are cockerels. the Orpington and (probably a Leghorn, but the body looks a bit thick) white bird are pullets.

    the only one I'm not positive is the red bird. yes, that's a bit of comb for the age, but it's not really red like I'd expect from a cockerel. Some production Reds lay pretty early, so it could be a faster maturing pullet.
