Yesterday afternoon, my little dog Boo began to bark her crisis bark. I ran out to the backyard expecting to see hawks circling or a stray cat- nope. What I did see was my dominique, Dolly, running after the rest of the girls with a plastic bag trailing behind her. With all the wind we've had lately, I've picked I don't know how many plastic bags off the fences, so I wasn't surprised to see another one. I thought Dolly had it hooked on her foot, no big thing to deal with. After I tracked her down and got my hands on her, I realized it wasn't on her foot or around her wing, but the handle was looped around her neck and twisted!! Every time the wind caught that bag, it twisted it tighter and tighter around her neck. Thank god she's okay; I will never think "I'll grab that later" when I see debris blowing again. Yikes!

Good thing you noticed it when you did. Thanks for the timely reminder.
