Blackhead and probably E. coli. Might have been able to save him if I hadn't ignored some obvious signs.
Question for all of you... the pathologist said he saw cecal worms in some of the pictures, but I don't see them. Do any of you see them?

I am not sure, but on the last picture, on the left side of the incision, at the top of the peak? There is a thin white line that looks like a worm?
I think KBEE is correct in that worm .. The cecal is a short "gut" that dead ends. The birds have two of these and I think both are shown . Stuff goes into these cecal pouches and ferments . They can have worms that are cecal worms. I see the worm also .. connerhills
