how big is the turtle, will the turtle escape and you'll loose him, how big are the ducks, how deep is the pond?

depends on the turtle species. If its a red ear slider or similar then you should be fine. If its a snapper then no.

Some sliders can be dangerous, especially to ducklings. And, of course, snappers are a big no-no. I think if you Google the type of turtle you have and ducks/ducklings, you might get an idea of how dangerous they would be.

Also, how big is the turtle? I've seen wild Mallards snacking on hatchling RES's....

That should be fine, just make sure he can get out and bask, and so he cant escape!

It sounds OK if it's only temporary and the turtles keep away from the ducks.
