I have 2 acurite thermometer/hygrometers in my forced air styrafoam incubator. The temperature in my room remains consistently chilly. One thermometer says 100 and the other says 97, this happens often. They are on opposite sides of the incubator but that shouldn't matter because it's forced air. Is there a problem with this temperature? Thank you for reading

Have you tried swapping them around and seeing if they agree? Like seeing if the one that reads 100 would read 97 if you switched their places and vice versa? If that happens I would say you likely have a cold spot. Can't hurt to try and see what happens.

Thank you that is very smart advice. I will try that
