Need advice

    First time having Hens my problem is 1 girls has something happening on her back looks like her feathers are gone but I see no lice or anything and the others are just fine. Any suggestions?[​IMG]

    If you have a rooster, the rooster may be overmating her. If there is no rooster, one of the hens is probably pulling out the feathers and eating them. I would get some Nustock cream or Bag Balm which are bad-tasting creams which when applied to the skin may discourage picking. Make sure they have plenty of room, being let out every day during the daylight hours, and being fed at least 16% protein in their layer feed or all flock feed. Getting outside can provide minerals they crave also.
