Need expert sexing opinions! Salmon Faverolles and BC Marans

I'd love to have some of you weigh in on sex on these chicks. They're right about 3 weeks old.

No idea if you can tell on BC Marans this early?

Generally, with SFs, all of the chicks you see developing black/really dark patches will be cockerels. The females will look like the first pic you posted. However, I've seen gobs of pictures of hatchery quality pullets on this forum that are darker than they should be. That being said, to me it looks like you have a lot of boys.

As for the BCMs, I don't know. But I will say that I have cuckoo Marans that are 2+ months old, and their combs aren't as large as some of your chicks. I know as they age, the pullets should show brown/copper on their necks and breasts only (pretty sure that's the way they work). And the cockerels will show more copper coloring, I think in their hackles, saddle and wings.

I was afraid that might be the case. These chicks are actually from a breeder, not from a hatchery. Any other opinions?
