Need help distinguishing between Australorp and Jersey Giant Chicks

    We have 2 Australorp and 2 Jersey Giant chicks, all bought as pullets, about a month old now.

    Well, we can tell the two kinds of birds apart (each pair is distinguishable) but we don't know what each pair is.

    Look at bottom of the feet.Australorp-whitish,Jersey-yellow.Jersey will have yellow tint on side of legs.

    Yeah, their pad colors will be different. This is the best way that I know of at that age.

    Thanks! We now know which is which thanks to the feet and their beak colors. Our australorps have a more two color (white close to the face, black for the rest) and the jersey giants have a solid black beak...
