need help sexing a 12 week old chicken please

    At 12 weeks old, I'm not 100% sure that is a pullet. I don't see any pointed saddle/hackle feathers (which would be definite rooster signs), but the comb is a little red and the patchy red on the wing is often a cockerel trait.

    I'm thinking the same thing - "red over wings= mark of doom" (rooster) UNLESS she decides to become completely red

    I'm seeing male specific saddle feathers. And the comb and wattles are pretty red. And there is that darker shade of red in the wings. All adds up to cockerel.
