I have 4 black copper marans that are 7 weeks old tomorrow and I know one is a definite hen, and one is a roo, but not sure about the other two. Hoping they're both hens! Sorry the pics are so dark, they like to spend time in the shade a lot!

Bird #1 This one is unknown to me! Thinking hen right now.. Also a little skiddish.

Bird #2 This one is also unknown as well, sorry pic isn't great, he/she is a little skiddish, and is the smallest of all 4 of them. Looked exactly like my roo a couple weeks ago but my roo has gotten a lot bigger and this little guy is still.. Well.. Little lol

I know this one's a hen. She loves to come and cuddle with me and is always right at my feet when I'm outside.

Bird #4 this one is our roo. we'll be keeping him so his name is Zeppelin.

I am voting roo for bird 1 and 2. Three looks more pulletish to me.

I hate to say this, but I think you have three roos and one pullet. However, the first bird still has me guessing.[IMG] Those short, pointy feathers and pink, large combs at such a young age all suggest males. [IMG] But, you can't be 100% until they are fully grown.

Also a couple weeks ago, bird 1 and 3 looked the same and bird 2 and 4 looked the same. So we thought we had 2 & 2 but now that they've changed again I'm starting to question..
