    Hi my name is Auma1959,
I am brand new in raising chickens. In fact my 2 year old granddaughter has our babies till they are old enough to come to our house and live in our new chicken pen we have.
We found some older chickens that we fell in love with and the people called them "strutters" but we cant find any information about them on line.
So I am putting pictures of them here hoping I can get some help in Identifying the.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello there and welcome to BYC! [IMG]

So glad you could join our community!

Cute pic of your Granddaughter!! :)

They look like they may be some sort of Game hens or some bantam breed. Stop by our What Breed and Gender section of the forums for some help with ID's. You might get some closer shots right up on the birds to help identify them better...https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this

Enjoy this new adventure you are on if you have any more questions along the way, feel free to ask. Welcome to our flock!

Welcome to BYC! [IMG]We're glad to have you.

They do appear to be game breed mixes.

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. I agree with the other members. They are game bird mixes. You have a beautiful granddaughter. Raising chickens is a great experience for children. My granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) loves our chickens. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock (and your granddaughter).)
