She has had about 4 ounces of colustrum very very tiny, momma won't let her nurse,as I was reading earlier I am going to give her BoSe gel in a little while but I am wondering how much milk does she need per feeding? She drinks about 1-1.5 ounces at a time but that is all I can get her to drink per feeding which is every 6 hours. She was born early yesterday morning we lost her siblings, and had to pull her.

I am sorry your lost your other little ones. How much does she weigh? You need to weigh her in order to determine how much milk she needs to be eating each day. Once you know her weight, use this chart. This young, she'll need more, smaller feedings. As she gets older, you can space out the feedings a bit more with larger volumes. Because she is only taking a tiny, tiny volume of milk, you'll need to feed her more than every six hours until she can consume more. If she doesn't eat enough, you'll lose her, too.

The amount of milk to be fed increases as she gains weight and grows.

Thank you she only weighs 2.5 pounds, she was one of 5 and the smallest one, when I went down to give her th BoSe gel she was cold again so we warmed her with blankets and rubbing her to help with her circulation and she did eat 21 cc of milk.she was up standing and walking yesterday not so much today. She has had a bowl movement today.

Thank you the chart is going to be very helpful, she was one of 5 babies and the smallest. She has been up walking and has had a bowl movement this morning from 6 am this morning to 9 am this morning she has eaten 2 oz of milk and had BoSe gel. When I went down to give her the BoSe gel her legs were cold again so we warmed her up with blankets and rubbing her to help with the circulation in her.
