Can someone tell me if this is a roo?

I got my first egg today with 3 RIR and saw this "hen" biting their necks

Haven't heard a crow yet - the neck feathers seem rounded but the feathering is strange. Need help!

He's a rooster. He's double barred and those are saddle and hackle feathers coming in.

    That's a rooster.

If he's mating, crowing shouldn't be far behind. Unless you have an older rooster that's going to inhibit him, he could start crowing literally any day now.

You'll only get mixed breed chicks if you chose to incubate the eggs. chickens are great that way, just cause they mate doesn't mean you're gonna get babies. You have to incubate the eggs or have a broody hen do the heavy lifting for you.

Well, I got the RIRs Oct. 30th - had my first egg this morning - it didn't appear fertilized. The Barred rock I got around Dec. 15th.

Hens are about 20 weeks old - the "roo" is 14 -16 weeks.
