I saw somewhere that instead of misting the eggs when you turn them you should put a wet cloth under the eggs. Has anyone ever tried this? What was your hatch rate? What was your hatch rate when you misted them? Is it better to hand turn waterfowl eggs? What is the percentage of humidity that works best? Should i turn them 3 or 5 times a day?

Mine ate in a Brinsea with auto turner and I mist them. So far, so good on our hatch rates with 3 or less not hatching from each batch set.

I think that continualy having a wet cloth in there would encourage bad bacteria to grow...
