Need Help with Hen or Roo

I have a three month old Americana/Easter Egger. Recently it began to crow, but I have read hens will crow also. Can anyone take a guess on what the bird appears to be? Hen or Rooster?

I am no expert but I would guess its a rooster I hatched 4 chick's and 3 of 4 were roosters they started crowing at about 6 weeks old (they were Plymouth rock X unknown) my hen never crowed I don't think hens can crow

Hens can occasionally crow -- usually older hens in a flock with no rooster.

But that bird has cockerel saddle feathers. He's a boy.

I have a similar situation - I have 2 Amerecauna bird - both hatched around the middle of April. One started crowing about a week ago. Seems to be low on the pecking order (I have no rooster and a hen that's 2 weeks older that seems to be the boss). All of the behaviour other than the crowing says "hen" to me, but I don't know the black one is the same age as the blue - no crowing but they look so similar to me!!! HALP!!! I'm SO CONFUSED!!!
