I have a group of week old pullets that I ordered as a standard mix from Ideal. I thought ID'ing them would be fun, lol! I think I have them all figured out except these chipmunks. I know they could be a lot of things, but I'm hoping some of you eggs-perts can help me figure it out. I'm hoping they are EE about their legs are yellow so....:/

Are you sure the legs are yellow - the little bit of toe that can be seen almost looks pink. Sorry to disappoint, but I am not seeing anything that says "EE" in this chick.

The one on top looks like a Speckled Sussex. Does Ideal have those?

They do sell speckled Sussex. That was one of my possibilities, but I was afraid the eye markings are too light.

My phone and the forum are not playing well together. I can't seem to upload another pic of the feet. They could be pink. Or maybe something between pink and yellow if they makes any sense at all.

Possibilities from Ideal Poultry for that single combed chick are quite a lot. Could be Danish Brown Leghorn, Golden Campine, Dark Brown Leghorn, Light Brown Leghorn, Speckled Sussex, Barnevelder, Welsummer, or Partridge Rock.
No way, at this point, to say which breed it is. You are going to need to be patient and let this little one feather in.

Argh. Patience is not one of those things I am good at. How many weeks before I can tell do you think?

When completely feathered in, at about 6 to 8 weeks old.
