DD(9) so desperately wants to pull a prank today. I am at a loss as to what to suggest. I have never really enjoyed this day, as a child, as I was only exposed to negative, mean ones at school growing up.

She thought a fake spider would be funny, not to those terrified of them in the house, so.......

    We homeschool, if that helps.

Do you have fake blood (maybe left over from Halloween??) he could get a 'BLOODY NOSE'.....
Or what about putting a dye/color in the shower head/tub for the next person who takes a shower/bath...
My kids always try the broken leg/arm thing!!! Grandma ALWAYS falls for that one!!!

Quote:Kool-Aid works good for the shower trick. Dark and bright colors would work the best (red, purple, blue).

Put mud in the shower so it looks like someone pooed in there.

Oh man.. my dad and mom pulled pranks on us kids EVERY YEAR until we were teens - and they got better and better.

    here's a few they did:

dyed the milk an awful color with food coloring (when they came in a paper carton)

Took a pie tin (disposable kind) and decorated the entire thing with icing, sprinkles, hershey kisses - it looked WONDERFUL (turned it upside down to make it look like a cake). They made this HUGE deal about it - (we werent allowed to pick it up, but it was sitting on a cake stand). Then after dinner put it on the table and told us to cut into it. [IMG] MAN were we upset... but we did get to eat all the candy and icing off of it. CLASSIC!

Toilets: saran wrapped the toilet on us. THAT was funny.

Or.. Saran wrapped the doorways and then yelled for us to COME QUICK as we bounced off the saran wrap [IMG]

Got trick soap and candy that would turn your mouth/teeth/tongue black for DAYS ON END (candy) or the soap would turn your face/hands black. WHAT A RIOT that was - and try to explain that to your friends next day at school.

Seaweed candy... yes, it LOOKS good but tastes HORRID [IMG]

Of course.. we kids got our retaliation too.

Salt replaced for the sugar [IMG] Coffee was horrible you know! HA HA!

got "special shampoo" for Dad - and it changed his hair color (it washed out however) What a great sense of humor he had...

We'd color Dad's toenails and fingernails with Sharpie pens....while he was asleep - and he'd have to go to work the next day! HA HA HA HA!! LOVED IT!

Whipped cream on hands when they fell asleep watching TV... then use a feather to "bug them".... SMACK.. whip cream in the face.

My brother was famous for the fake blood scenes..... and sometimes took it a bit too far... [IMG]

Oh man...I could go on and on... but you've brought back some great memories for me -especially since Daddy isnt here any longer.

PARENTS - HAVE FUN WITH YOUR KIDS while you can... they'll treasure these memories for the rest of their lives, trust me.

You can never go wrong with a good fart machine and a 9 year old, all 9 year olds think farts are funny, well so do I. What kind of fart machine you got anyways? I'm in the market for a good ........... Never mind, I'm rambling now. [IMG]

just thought of some more LOL

we used to turn the tub to SHOWER *snickering* and then run like mad because Mom would be in on it and call Dad into fix the tub and have to turn the water on.. he'd get soaking wet [IMG]

Rubber band the sprayer on the sink faucet *OUCH MY stomach hurts from laughing* Now THAT is hysterical.. especially given its face height.. got Mom MANY a time doing that one! You've never seen 3 kids run so fast in all your life!

    Vaseline door handles....

Take batteries out of remote controls... because God FORBID you actually have to get UP to change the channel.

Speaking of remote controls - its even BETTER if you have 2 remotes working off the same channel! We used to do this to Dad all the time. He'd have the remote and change the channel, and we'd secretly have the other and flip the channel in the middle of him watching something. He'd grab the remote and flip it back. This would go on for about 5 mintues before he'd get up and slap the TV yelling "What the hell?" *I've got tears right now I'm laughing so hard remembering this [IMG]* Then we couldnt control the laughter any longer ...

    Oh man.. good times...

We barrow it from time to time to take to family functions and as far as the fake poo goes my DH likes to go outside at family functions when the kids are out there playing and accuse them of pooing in the yard pointing at the dogs business left there. The kids immediatly say" I didn't do that it was the dog " my DH says " yeah right". [IMG] . The kids really think he does'nt believe them.
