Hey, folks - I've seen online pics of nest boxes that have a landing edge in the front, and I'd like to build a few. The landing edge/roost edge in the front flips down so they can fly up to that edge, then hop into the box. At night, the ledge can be flipped up to block access to the nest boxes.

I'm currently putting empty boxes into the nest boxes that my girls think they need to roost in at night, and what a pain that is with having SEVERAL who do this now! I'd love to be able to just flip the roost edge up & be done with them for the night, then flip it down in the a.m. again, but I need some pics to get ideas on how to build them. Thanks!
