I just picked all my banana peppers. I would like to pickle some (like the rings bought in stores) Does anyone have any recipes?? I think I just need the brine recipe and processing time.

Our is exactly like Kim's, with one little exception.... 3 cloves garlic per pint, 6 per quart [IMG]

Don't use metal utensils handling the garlic.... it turns blue [IMG]
I just toss them in the bottom of the jars before I pack/fill. Sometimes I'll drop a tablespoon of dried marjoram in one as well, just for something a little different [IMG]

I made banana pepper rings last summer and they taste just like the ones you get in the store or subway. 1 ingredient - White Vinegar!!! Bring it almost to a boil but not full boil and pour over raw packed rings in jar. Seal and process 10 min in wbc. Their great!! I think this was the easiest recipe I ever did. [IMG]
