need some info on coccidiosis

    a fellow byc person told me that the reason my chickens have been dying all the sudden may be they have coccidiosis. can someone please explain to me the symptoms and post pictures of any birds that you think may have had it.

    i am looking at it on the internet and some symptoms fit and some symptoms dont. can you help

    You can take a fresh poop sample to your vet and have them take a look under a microscope to see if it's coccidia. They'll also let you know if they see worm oocysts and what type. The sample I took to my vet cost $10 to analyze. Unfortunately the answer I was seeking wasnt there and had another sample sent to the University of Georgia veterinary school in Tifton.
