Need to pick one of these Call drakes to breed with my new duck.

    This is my tiny grey call duck and i need to pick one of my drakes to keep for her.
    Can yall help me with that?

    if they are the same age, I'd pick the more colorful one. Maybe thats a sign of a quicker maturing bird, which would be a good trait to pass on.

    Based off of these pictures I would select #1, it would be good to see more pictures of both from other angles too though.

    Yep I can do that they are both hams and hog the camera.
    Head on, left/right and above back?
    Would that work?

    Would work great, my guess is I will still say 1, but seeing both all around will help see body type.

    #2 is still getting his color in. his brother #1 still has a little brown here and there. Not sure if this helps or not [​IMG]
