When I went out to the barn this morning, I noticed one of my hens was bloody on her tail. I noticed the other 4 hens trying to peck at her. She currently has a gash, but the blood stopped, which I guess is good. I have her in a different pen, far from the other hens. She is by herself. The hens only pecked at her, because no other hen has any cuts. I think I stopped them in time, because the cut was not to deep. She is able to run and move. She can do everything that chickens do, but I am worried she may get sick! Is there something I can do to help her?
Please help!

Keep her separate from the others until she's healed, or they might pick at her again. If you're worried about infection, you can sterilize her wound as needed using warm water and a saline solution. There's also hydrogen peroxide, if you have that. Other than that, just make sure that she has the basic essentials - clean living conditions, fresh water and food, shelter.
