Need your help...want to buy laying hens....neighbors dog!

I really need your help......

I am wanting to buy 8 laying hens..........2 white leghorn, 2 rhode island red, 2 barred rock and 2 brown leghorn.

A neighbors 2 big dogs got into my chain linked fenced chicken yard and killed all these chickens. I don't know what to do. I'm missing out on selling 5 dozen eggs a week.

The neighbor wants to replace my chickens and I don't know where to find these egg laying chickens.

Any advice would be great. If you have had this happen............what should I do??

So sorry about your chickens!

Check craigslist. There is a teenager on there that sells layers, located in Chandler. Think he has an ad up for ISA Browns right now, but he has many different breeds.

Have you fixed your fence yet? Maybe a strand of hotwire would deter them next time? Good luck!

My fence is fully enclosed.....no fixing needed. Just don't need the dogs in my yard. Still unsure about how they got in.
